Michael Perry
“Beneath the flannel surface of this deer-hunting, truck-loving Badger is the soul of a poet.”
-Chicago Tribune on Michael Perry’s most recent book, Coop
Michael Perry lives and writes in rural Wisconsin. He is the author of three bestselling memoirs.
Raised on a small dairy farm, Perry equates his writing career to cleaning calf pens “just keep shoveling, and eventually you’ve got a pile so big, someone will notice.” Perry is a contributing editor for Men’s Health and has published articles in The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Backpacker, and numerous other publications.
