A Culinary Tour through the Festival Books
Co-sponsored by The Good Wives. This event is presented in person only. There will be no virtual streaming for this event. If possible, please register everyone in your party at one time to accommodate seating.

The dream team behind The Good Wives and Kingfisher Supper Club, will be hosting a culinary journey through some of our book festival featured books for our 2026 meal event. Featured books and a specific menu will be released prior to ticket sales opening in September. We will once again have two separate seatings (5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) to accommodate more diners.
Dinner guests can expect brief presentations introducing each featured book by festival organizers during the five-course meal with a chance to mingle throughout the dining experience. No festival authors will be present.

COURSE 1: Inspired by The Many Mothers of Dolores Moore by Anika Fajardo
Arepa Santandereana - served with hogan
COURSE 2: Inspired by Bamboo Son by Pao Lor
Dumpling Laab - pork dumplings dressed up with traditional laab seasonings and herbs
COURSE 3: Inspired by The Reservation by Rebecca Kauffman
Steak- slices of ribeye with buckwheat crepe, fall vegetable puree, Demi glacé and crisp fennel bulb
COURSE 4: Inspired by American Birkebeiner by Jerome Poling
Smørrebrød - rye bread smeared with house-made cultured butter, topped with salmon gravlax, grapefruit segments, and dill pollen
COURSE 5: Inspired by Minecraft: Roll for Adventure by Matt Forbeck

TICKETS: $75 including taxes/fees
A wine pairing add-on for $25 available at the time of the event.
Alternatively, the bar will be open as normal for beverage purchases.
